Prepare the first stable 1.2.0 release under the owner's zero-cost unsigned distribution decision. Keep exact-main CI, CodeQL, checksums, SPDX inventory, build/SBOM attestations and immutable publication; record the explicit instruction to publish with deferred workstation/manual browser installation checks rather than marking those checks passed.
The clean local 1.2.0 package passed 273 application tests, 32 browser/helper tests, 10,089 native UI assertions, 15 setup assertions, 23 installer lifecycle checks and 19 offline VM upgrade checks. All 894 installed files matched, configuration and three native-host registrations were preserved, and the signed Firefox payload was unchanged. The updated readiness regression accepts explicit versioned deferral and rejects 19 invalid records.
Application and extension implementation is unchanged from the tested 1.2.0 package. Remaining site acceptance and manual folder-picker limits are documented in docs/RELEASE_ACCEPTANCE_1.2.0.md and the release notes. Merge with a merge commit to preserve the reviewed-revision ancestry used by the release gate.
