Summary of Changes:

  • RPC & Wagmi: Switched to a stable RPC (polygon-amoy.drpc.org) and fixed transports crashes.
  • Contract Address: Updated to the newly deployed, bug-free Amoy contract (0xfD14...5834).
  • ABI & Args: Updated Tectonic ABI to include the receiver address and updated UI contract calls to match.
  • Gas Override: Added automatic 30 Gwei gas fee override specifically for Amoy to fix MetaMask underpricing errors.
  • UI: Activated the Amoy Mint/Redeem UI by setting isPlaceholder: false.

Review Change Stack

Walkthrough

The PR activates the Amoy deployment, configures Wagmi transports, updates Tectonic ABI receiver arguments, and adds wallet validation, Amoy gas settings, and transaction error display to mint and redeem flows.

Changes

Amoy transaction support

Layer / File(s) Summary
Contract and chain wiring
lib/abi/Tectonic.ts, lib/deployments-data.ts, config/wagmi.ts
The ABI now requires receiver addresses for mint and redeem methods. The Amoy deployment is active. Wagmi now uses configured HTTP transports.
Wallet transaction flow
app/deployments/[id]/DeploymentDetailClient.tsx
Mint and redeem calls use the connected wallet address. Amoy transactions use explicit gas fees. Submission requires a connected wallet, and write or receipt errors appear in the form.

Estimated code review effort: 3 (Moderate) | ~20 minutes

Mergeability Score: 🟠 High · up to 04356

The Amoy mint/redeem UI is enabled, but the current contract integration still calls unavailable pricing functions, so user transactions will revert. This is a merge-blocking correctness issue; wallet-state handling and invalid numeric input also need follow-up before the flow is ready.

I’m a rabbit with a wallet bright,
Minting and redeeming through the night.
Amoy fees are set just right,
Receiver calls now guide the flight.
Errors hop into the form in sight.

Gate the Amoy equity flow until the deployment ABI matches.

The contract exposes the receiver-aware mint and redeem selectors, but ecPriceMint() and ecPriceRedeem() are absent and both calls revert. The page must not enable equity writes against this address.

Disable submission when no wallet is connected.

When userAddress is undefined, handleSubmit returns without feedback. The submit button remains enabled, so a disconnected user can select Mint or Redeem and see no result. Disable the button for this state and show a localized connect-wallet instruction.

🌐 Web query:

For viem 2.55.2, does parseEther("1e3") accept scientific-notation input or throw an invalid decimal error?

💡 Result:

In viem version 2.55.2, calling parseEther("1e3") will throw an InvalidDecimalNumberError [1]. The parseEther function is a wrapper around parseUnits, which uses a strict regular expression to validate the input string: /^(-?)([0-9]*)\.?([0-9]*)$/ [1]. Because this regex only permits digits and an optional decimal point, scientific notation (such as "1e3") does not match this pattern and consequently triggers an invalid decimal error [1]. While there have been discussions and community pull requests regarding adding support for scientific notation to parseUnits and parseEther, the maintainers have historically maintained strict validation to prevent potential loss of funds due to unexpected parsing behavior [2]. As of version 2.55.2, scientific notation remains unsupported by these functions [1].

Handle numeric formats that parseEther rejects.

When amount contains exponent notation such as 1e3, parseEther(amount) throws before the transaction error state is populated. Reject non-decimal input before calling parseEther, or catch the error and display an input error.

populate that same error state, ensuring invalid input never escapes as an
