Synopsis of Project: The current government contracting landscape is defined by a bureaucratic barrier. We will implement Enterprise Idea #3, which highlights how the sector is currently a labyrinth of dense PDFs and complex compliance hurdles. This allows large firms to hold a natural monopoly with dedicated proposal teams and deep understandings of contract bidding systems, essentially locking out smaller, agile innovators who do not have the manpower or resources to sift through thousands of pages. Our project will aim to democratize access to government contracts by building an automated sourcing and a feasibility synthesis engine. Instead of a manual review process, our platform will use an LLM with Retrieval-Augmented Generation to scan daily postings from SAM.gov to automatically match a contractor’s specific capabilities against the requirements of new bids. Our system will provide a "compatibility score”, create a short summary of work required, matching past work and current capabilities, allowing smaller firms to compete with established firms without the overhead of full-time bid-writing staff teams.

Next.js client dashboard (web/)

Issues #13#15 are implemented in the web/ Next.js app. From the repo root:

cd web && npm install && npm run dev

Then open http://localhost:3000. Engineering documentation for the dashboard lives in the wiki — start with Frontend Implementation Plan and web/README.md. The older static prototype (index.html, script.js, styles.css) remains for comparison.
