Summary

• Update Ghost to 6.69.0 and StartOS package version to 6.69.0:0. Minor tier under Ghost's SemVer policy; read the 6.68.0 and 6.69.0 release notes. Member location maps, automation analytics, site exports and the refreshed post/member screens are exposed through Ghost Admin; no additional StartOS configuration is needed by these release notes.
• Verified the exact ghost:6.69.0-alpine Docker Hub tag is active for amd64 and arm64. MySQL remains at 8.4.11.
• Bump start-sdk to 3.0.4 after reading its changelog. Repeated installation until the lockfile stopped changing; one SDK copy remains, and there are no sibling git dependencies to refresh.
• Replace release notes in all five locales with this release's highlights and the complete upstream comparison. The beta registry already publishes the base release; 6.69.0:0 is not published there. No wrapper migration is introduced.
• Correct UPDATING.md: MySQL maintenance does not determine the Ghost upstream version, and the tag-list command excludes -next prereleases.
• No open issues have the Approved label. Existing README and user instructions still describe the unchanged wrapper behavior.

Testing

• Passed: cache-backed npm ci && make: the shared TypeScript and Prettier gates, JavaScript bundling, and x86_64/aarch64 package packing. Both returned .s9pk manifests were inspected and report 6.69.0:0 with SDK 3.0.4. No installation, service start or runtime exercise was performed.
• Upgrade an existing Ghost install with posts, members, themes and uploads to 6.69.0:0; confirm database/server readiness, primary-URL admin login and retained content, then publish/edit a post and restart.
• On a running 6.69.0:0 install with member/activity data, exercise the refreshed posts list and member activity screens, member-import column mapping and site exports. Check automation analytics with existing automation activity; scheduled newsletter delivery needs a configured newsletter sending provider and subscribed members.
• Exercise a fresh install by choosing the primary URL, creating the owner account and checking the public site.

Merge with a merge commit — do not squash. next is long-lived: a merge commit leaves it a true ancestor of master, so it fast-forwards cleanly afterwards. A squash re-lands the same content under a new commit, so the branch is left carrying history master will never contain.

I checked the following, and it all holds up:

• The branch merges cleanly with master. All three CI checks pass on 78f826a.
• ghost:6.69.0-alpine exists on Docker Hub for amd64 and arm64. 6.69.0 is Ghost's latest stable release.
• start-sdk 3.0.4 is the newest version on npm, and the lockfile has a single copy of it.
• Beta serves 6.67.0:1, so 6.69.0:0 is the right version and its notes correctly start fresh. No other open PR takes this version. The empty migration stays in current.ts, which is correct.
• The release notes in all five locales match the upstream 6.68.0 and 6.69.0 changelogs.
• The UPDATING.md corrections are accurate.
• I built the x86 package with npm ci && make x86. It passed the type-check and prettier gate and packed v6.69.0:0 with SDK 3.0.4. I did not install it on a VM.

One change requested: drop the "scripts": { "check": "tsc --noEmit" } addition from package.json. Nothing in this package was missing it. The template (hello-world-startos) and the rest of the fleet (vaultwarden, lnd and others) have no check script. The guide's build gate already runs tsc --noEmit as TS_CHECK in s9pk.mk on every make. Package uniformity matters, and this adds a second, package-only entry point for the same check. Please also remove the "Fix the missing npm run check script" bullet from the PR body.

Removed the redundant check script in bf40614; type-checking remains owned by the shared s9pk.mk build gate. Removed the corresponding PR-summary bullet and updated the testing section. Cache-backed npm ci && make passed the TypeScript and Prettier gates, bundling, and packing for x86_64 and aarch64. Inspected both returned packages: version 6.69.0:0, SDK 3.0.4. Runtime testing was not performed. The branch still merges cleanly with master. Only the package.json change from the proposal was applied; harness .helix metadata was excluded and the recurrence reported on helix-startos-internal#5.

• My one requested change is done. bf40614 removes the check script from package.json exactly as proposed, and changes nothing else. The PR description no longer has the bullet about it.
• Merges cleanly. git merge-tree against origin/master reports no conflicts, and GitHub shows MERGEABLE.
• CI passes on bf40614. DiscoverMatrix and both the x86 and arm builds are green.
• Everything else stands from my first review. That covers the version, the release notes, the Docker image tag, the SDK pin and the local x86 build. I did not install the package on a VM.
