Py in The Sky - High Altitude Balloon Data Tracker

This is a STEM project meant to teach the following:

• Microcontroller / electronics basics
• Introduction to coding concepts
  • Arduino Language being the language of choice
• Test the finished product in a high altitude balloon flight to the stratosphere (90-125k feet)
• Collect telemetry data and retreive logged data
• Analyze collected data

Lessons will be broken up into short lessons students can work on by themselves or in small groups.

Lessons:

• Introduction and how to get started
• Blinking lights - Arduino 101
• Working with the weather sensor
• Working with the GPS module
• Working with the SD card module
• Putting it all together - evolving
• Analyzing telemetry and log data
