PM Copilot

An end-to-end product management copilot — 12 skills spanning discovery, planning, strategy, documentation, design, execution, and communication.

Overview

PM Copilot supports a product manager from a first market scan through to a shipped release note, chaining outputs skill-to-skill along the way:

Each skill also works standalone — you don't have to run the full chain to use any single one.

Components

Skills (12):

Skill Category Use it to...
market-competitor-research Discovery Scan a market and competitive landscape (plus real call-transcript signal) before pursuing an idea
idea-brainstorm Discovery Generate and cluster product ideas against a problem or gap
feedback-synthesizer Discovery Turn scattered customer feedback into ranked themes
prioritization-engine Planning Score and rank backlog items with RICE/ICE/WSJF/Kano/MoSCoW
product-strategy-builder Strategy Build out TAM/SAM/SOM, positioning, and a launch plan
idea-validator Strategy Devil's-advocate / pre-mortem stress-test before committing
prd-writer Documentation Draft a full structured PRD
user-story-writer Documentation Convert a PRD into user stories + acceptance criteria
prototype-builder Design Build a clickable, interactive prototype
risk-tracker Execution Maintain a RAID log during delivery
stakeholder-update-generator Communication Draft audience-tailored status updates
release-notes-writer Communication Draft internal + customer-facing release notes

MCP servers (3) — see CONNECTORS.md:

  • project-tracker (default: Atlassian Jira)
  • chat (default: Slack)
  • call-intelligence (default: Sybill)

Setup

  1. Install the plugin (drag the .plugin file into Claude Code or Claude Cowork, or use claude plugin install).
  2. The bundled MCP servers (project-tracker, chat) will prompt for authentication the first time a skill uses them. This is optional — every skill works without them, just with manual copy/paste instead of direct pulls/pushes.
  3. To point at a different project tracker or chat tool, edit .mcp.json — see CONNECTORS.md for details. No skill content needs to change.

Usage

Just describe what you need in plain language — e.g. "research the market for X," "brainstorm ideas for Y," "RICE-prioritize these five features," "write a PRD for this," "draft release notes for this release." Each skill's frontmatter lists its trigger phrases if you want to be more explicit.

Customization

See CONNECTORS.md for how the ~~project tracker / ~~chat placeholders work and how to swap the default connectors for other providers.
