All significant balance changes are configurable in the IC2-Patcher configuration file, if you would want to bring back the original IC2-Exp experience.
Most of the bug fixing patches are not configurable.
IC2-Patcher supports multiple IC2 versions, and there are differences in the available patches for them.
Support for different versions is requested by Modpack Developers, and main development focus is on version 2.8.221+.
Some of the configuration options are marked as [Experimental]. Those are patches that change the behaviour of the affected mechanic singificantly, and therefore are disabled by default to avoid unexpected issues for the average user.
If you are willing to enable those features, be aware that unexpected behavior might arrise. Please report any issues you encounter while playing with the experiments 😄
