Restore the last confirmed value, not the previous request.

If the user queues values 10 and 20 from an initial value of 0, and both commands fail, the second command restores 10. That value was also rejected. The auto-off slider has the same issue.

Track the last successfully applied value for each setting and use it for rollback.

Review comment at @src/main.rs at line 1070:
Update the sidetone and auto-off setting flows around HeadsetCmd::Sidetone so
failed commands restore each setting’s last successfully applied value, rather
than the previous requested value. Track confirmed values separately from
pending requests and advance them only when the corresponding command succeeds.

Identify requests independently of their values.

If the user requests 10, then 20, then 10 while the first command is pending, a failure of the first command matches the latest value and restores its previous value. If the later commands succeed, the headset ends at 10 but the slider remains at the restored value.

Use a request generation or identifier to check whether a failed request is still current.

Review comment at @src/workers.rs at line 422:
Update the failure handling around the `if *f == v` check to track each request
with a generation or identifier, rather than comparing requested values. Restore
the previous value only when the failed request is still the current request, so
repeated values from different requests cannot make an older failure overwrite
newer state.

Persist the rollback while the window is closed.

When the slider event saves the optimistic value and the user then closes the Linux window to the tray, set_or_revert restores the value only in shared memory. The tray loop and tray Quit path do not save the restored value. Quitting from the tray can therefore leave the rejected value on disk for the next launch. Save the rollback without depending on another UI frame.

Review comment at @src/workers.rs at line 423:
Update set_or_revert to persist the restored value after assigning prev, so
rollback is saved immediately and does not depend on another UI frame or
tray-loop save. Ensure this also covers quitting from the tray.

P2 Badge Roll back to the last confirmed headset setting

If the user releases the slider again before an earlier headsetcontrol call finishes, the worker can queue two updates. When both calls fail, the first rollback is skipped because the setting has advanced; the second then restores its prev, which is the already-rejected intermediate value. That value remains in settings and can be saved, so track the last confirmed value rather than reverting to the immediately previous optimistic value.
