Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Bun (Recommended) or Node.js (Latest LTS)
  • A Supabase project

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/folio.git
    cd folio
  2. Install dependencies:

    bun install
  3. Configure Environment Variables: Copy the example environment file and fill in your Supabase credentials:

    cp .env.example .env.local

    Edit .env.local and add your VITE_SUPABASE_URL and VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY.

  4. Start Development Server:

    bun dev

    Your app will be running at http://localhost:3000.

Database Setup

Folio uses Supabase for data persistence. Ensure your Supabase project has the necessary tables by running the SQL in supabase/schema.sql within your Supabase SQL Editor:

  • portfolios: Stores user portfolio configuration, themes, and section visibility.
