perf: count each guild's nodes once per particle pass - #28
The particle pass (every 5 ticks) calls check() on every claimed node. Each check asked NodeManager.getNodeAmount for its guild, which walked every node and resolved its guild through SimpleFactions. So one pass cost nodes × nodes guild lookups. That was about 1 % of Main's main-thread time all the time in the 10-28 spark profile (A7HCwatGsZ), and it grows with the number of claimed nodes.
Change
beginCountPass() counts claimed, non-special nodes per guild once at the start of each particle pass. The count is case-insensitive, matching the old equalsIgnoreCase. While the pass runs, getNodeAmount answers from that count.
When check() lets a node go, NodeManager.released lowers its guild's count. An over-capacity guild still drops exactly the nodes it did before.
endCountPass() runs in finally. Outside the pass (claims, menus, costs) counting stays live.
Testing
New NodeManagerCyclesTest case: pass counts, released decrements, guards, and live counting after the pass. The node tests pass. The 8 Windows-only failures (DatabaseTest, NodePaymentsTest) also fail on main; Linux CI is the reference.
Dev: Main's 49 node files ran with the released 3.3.0, then with this build, on the same data, with the particle passes running for 3 minutes each.
As-is: both released the same 13 nodes (their guilds don't exist on Dev).
Over-capacity: with two guilds given 6 nodes each at capacity 1, both released the same 21 nodes. Hraftar went from 6 to 1 in both runs.
Ownership was identical node for node, with no errors.
The particle pass runs every 5 ticks and checks every claimed node; each
check asked NodeManager.getNodeAmount for its guild, which walked every
node and resolved its guild through SimpleFactions. A pass therefore
cost nodes x nodes guild lookups, about 1 % of Main's main-thread time
in the 10-28 spark profile (A7HCwatGsZ) all the time.
The pass now counts claimed, non-special nodes per guild once at its
start (case-insensitive, like the old equalsIgnoreCase match), and
getNodeAmount answers from that count while the pass runs. When a check
lets a node go, NodeManager.released lowers its guild's count, so an
over-capacity guild still drops exactly the nodes it did before. Outside
the pass (claims, menus, costs) counting stays live.

Guild node counts now remain consistent during particle updates when control of a node is lost. Special and unclaimed nodes are excluded from counts, and totals reflect current ownership again after the update completes. This helps ensure the displayed counts are accurate throughout node checks and after ownership changes.
NodeManager now snapshots counts of owned, non-special nodes by guild during particle cycles. Node.check notifies NodeManager when a node loses control, so the active snapshot can be decremented. Counts return to live node-list calculations after the pass.

Summary
Count pass and particle cycle src/main/java/net/tfminecraft/dowsing/managers/NodeManager.java
NodeManager builds a case-insensitive count map for owned, non-special nodes. It uses the map during a particle pass and clears it when the cycle ends, including when a node check fails.
Release updates and validation src/main/java/net/tfminecraft/dowsing/objects/Node.java, src/test/java/net/tfminecraft/dowsing/managers/NodeManagerCyclesTest.java
When control is lost, Node.check notifies NodeManager. The test checks snapshot counts, qualifying release decrements, and live counting after the pass.
TF-Minecraft/Dowsing#25: Changes when held-guild nodes remain owned, which affects whether a node release decrements the cached count during a particle pass.

Assert the count after a real Node.check() release.
The count test calls NodeManager.released(...) directly. The particle-cycle test uses a Mockito node and only verifies check(). If Node.check() loses its NodeManager.released(g, this) call, both tests can still pass.
Use a real node in the cycle test. After invocation.callRealMethod() returns, assert NodeManager.getNodeAmount(f.guild) while the count pass remains active. With the two-owned-node setup, the count must be 1.

CodeRabbit nitpick: the count test called NodeManager.released directly,
so dropping the call from Node.check would still pass. Two real nodes of
one guild at capacity 1 now run check() inside a count pass: the first
is let go and the count drops to 1, so the second stays. Fails if the
released call is removed.

Thanks, done in 1f03a88: two real nodes of one guild at capacity 1 run check() inside a count pass; the first is let go and the count drops to 1, so the second stays. I checked it fails if NodeManager.released(g, this) is removed from Node.check. @coderabbitai review
@XxFran10xX Thanks for adding the regression test in 1f03a88. Your reported mutation check confirms that the test detects a missing NodeManager.released(g, this) call. I’ll request a review of the new changes.
