fix: link pumps to sinkable hulls - #77
Conversation
No vehicle ever handed its pump to its sinkable hull, so every boat took on water below 80% hull health whatever its pump. The component handler now links them when it builds a template or a live vehicle. A pump weakened below 10 power now still drains flooding at the no-pump rate instead of never draining it. VehicleHandlersCoverageTestcalls bothComponentHandlerconstructors directly. It does not verify the arguments supplied byVehicleLoaderor the realActiveVehicleconstructor. Current loader coverage uses a non-sinkable hull, and spawner coverage mocksActiveVehicle. A regression at either boundary could leave a sinkable hull without its pump while these assertions remain green. The pump-dependent sinking threshold and flooding drainage would then be absent.Add focused tests that load a sinkable vehicle through
VehicleLoaderand construct a real live vehicle, asserting that each hull references its configured pump. This is a targeted regression guard, not a claim that the current implementation fails.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

Problem
Pumps did nothing.
SinkableHulluses a pump to set its sink threshold (100 - power, max 80) and to drain flooding faster, butsetPumpwas never called outside tests. Every boat took on water below 80% hull health whatever its pump, and repaired boats drained 1 point per slow tick.Live boats with pumps: cruiser, ironclad, sloop, torpedoboat (power 50 each). Gunboat has a sinkable hull but no pump, so it keeps the 80% threshold.
Change
ComponentHandlerlinks the vehicle's pump to its sinkable hull when it builds a template or a live vehicle.Balance effect
This is a balance change. With a healthy power-50 pump:
Damaging the pump lowers its power and raises the threshold back toward 80%. A destroyed pump behaves like no pump. Decay rules with
keep-afloatnow stop hulls at the pump's threshold, asVehicleHealthDecayalready expected. Main has no decay rules.Tests
