This page documents the client integrations of the BTFS process.

Finding the Process ID of the Running Daemon

Use API V0 ID request to get the JSON that includes:

ID
PublicKey
Addresses
AgentVersion
ProtocolVersion
DaemonProcessID
- -1 if this process isn't a daemon
- the process ID of this process if it is a daemon

This information is also available by running btfs id, but DaemonProcessID will be -1 since the process launched this way won't be a daemon.
