+- **Background jobs will report back automatically:** In Pochi 0.66, long-running commands will be able to continue in the background while Pochi moves on to other work. When a job finishes, Pochi will receive a completion notification, and the job and its output will remain attached to the task so it can inspect the result without repeatedly checking whether the command is done.
+
+  Today, a completed background job can sit unnoticed until Pochi polls it again, slowing down workflows built around development servers, test suites, and other long-running commands.

+  This will be most useful on tasks where several steps can continue while a command runs.
