π Subsystems Overview
πΉ Rocker
- Part of the rockerβbogie suspension system.
- Helps distribute load evenly while climbing obstacles.
- Ensures all wheels remain in contact with the ground.
πΉ Chassis
- The structural backbone of the rover.
- Houses sensitive electronics and instruments.
- Designed for strength, stability, and protection.
πΉ Steering
- Provides directional control to the rover.
- Enables tight turns and precise maneuvering on rough terrain.
πΉ Differential Bar
- Connects the left and right rocker arms.
- Balances motion so the rover body remains stable.
πΉ Electronic Box
- Functions as the Warm Electronics Box (WEB).
- Protects onboard electronics from Martian dust and temperature extremes.
πΌοΈ Render Previews
Each subsystem folder contains a SolidWorks model (.SLDPRT / .SLDASM) and a rendered image for quick visualization. Example preview:
βοΈ How to Open the Files
- Open
.SLDPRTor.SLDASMfiles in SolidWorks 2018 or later. - View
.pngrenders without SolidWorks if you only need visualization.
