Platform tarballs shipped with ERROR: No README data found!, no LICENSE files, and a stray bin/.gitkeep; main wrapper README was a 17-line stub and metadata was missing author/publishConfig/type.

  • sync-npm-version.mjs now enforces canonical metadata (SPDX (MIT OR Apache-2.0), author, git+ repository, bugs, publishConfig public+provenance, type commonjs, files incl. README+LICENSEs) across all 8 packages
  • per-platform README stubs (fixes npmjs empty-readme); expanded main wrapper README (badges, yarn/bun, commands, license)
  • release.yml populate step: rm .gitkeep, cp README+LICENSEs into each package, pack dry-run preview before publish
  • new scripts/check-npm-quality.mjs + CI step so regressions fail fast

win32 left out of scope as agreed (package metadata fixed, no publish attempted here).

Verified locally: sync --check, check-npm-quality, npm-wrapper.test, cargo fmt/clippy -D warnings/test, publint All good.
