Summary

Adds the first bounded, stack-local specification for psychsocio metafauna without promoting it to canon or placing it inside METAPAT, UCNS, EDCM, ZFAE, PTCNA, or an application repository.

The change adds:

  • a human-readable synthesis map and ontology;
  • a machine-readable domain claim with nearby-term and namespace-collision boundaries;
  • an exact cross-repository work graph with authority and status non-transfer;
  • nine explicit research programs;
  • a synthetic-only preregistration for damage-affordance specificity, nonlinear coalescence, hysteresis, adoption-versus-capture separation, noncoercive repair, and destructive controls;
  • contract tests and a path-scoped GitHub Actions gate;
  • the corresponding stack research-layout entry.

Preserved boundaries

  • pattern instance != pattern lineage
  • lineage identity != an "I"
  • causal efficacy != accountability
  • adoption or conviction != identity capture
  • damage != global weakness
  • METAPAT root impact: none
  • UCNS geometry is optional representation, not social or psychological evidence
  • EDCM activation: not-run
  • PTCNA intended construction remains BLOCKED on its own prerequisite
  • no diagnosis, hidden-state inference, human classifier, vulnerability targeting, coercive intervention, or canon selection
  • The Interdependent Way is included as a required self-audit target rather than exempted from the theory

Validation

python -m unittest discover -s research/psychsocio-metafauna/tests -q
Ran 4 tests
OK

The tests check provisional claim standing, non-use boundaries, exact participant identities, work-graph SHA-256 integrity, and agreement between human and machine entry points.

hmmm

  • immutable repository provenance for the originating conversation;
  • exact current commit of wayseer00/main:canon/INTERDEPENDENT_WAY.txt;
  • validated lineage invariants and damage-affordance matrix;
  • whether nonlinear coalescence thresholds and hysteresis exist;
  • a non-stigmatizing distinction between commitment and capture;
  • criteria for an accountable distributed I;
  • noncoercive repair measures and ethical limits on any later human research.

Add the stack-local domain claim, exact cross-repository work graph, bounded synthesis map, synthetic-only preregistration, contract tests, and path-scoped CI. Preserve no-canon, no-diagnosis, no-human-classification, and no-authority-transfer boundaries.

P1 Badge Bind claims to the stack-pinned METAPAT source

This records METAPAT at d6699e21..., but the root manifest and research/metapat/BASE.json pin 34d954aa..., and the newer commit is not represented in libs/metapat/. Consequently, the semantic contributions attributed to METAPAT cannot be audited from this stack checkout and stack-level provenance now has two conflicting source identities. Either use the existing pinned commit or refresh the manifest, canonical view, and base record together.

The measurement vector distinguishes high adoption with preserved revision and exit from the candidate capture configuration.

**Survival rule:** at least `90%` of matched-support episodes with adoption at or above `0.75` remain outside the candidate capture configuration.

P1 Badge Make the H4 survival rule independent of its own control

When this rule evaluates matched-support episodes, the candidate-capture gate already requires host outcome to be at least 0.15 worse than the matched-support control. The evaluated condition is therefore also the condition that makes it fail the capture conjunction, allowing H4 to survive without demonstrating preserved revision or exit—even if both collapse. Use direct revision/exit criteria or a comparator independent of the matched-support cohort.

Independent support reduces persistence and reproduction demands while increasing revision, alternative access, or exit, without deleting the pattern or imposing a belief action.

**Survival rule:** compared with the no-support counterpart, support changes at least two agency measures by `0.15` or more in the predicted direction and does not directly force `exit`, `revise`, or `ignore`.

P1 Badge Require H5 to test its stated persistence outcomes

This survival rule can mark H5 SURVIVED based solely on two agency measures while persistence and reproduction remain unchanged or even increase, despite the hypothesis explicitly requiring reductions in both. Moreover, reproduction demand is a fixed pattern-profile input, so independent support cannot reduce it; the measurable outcome is reproduction allocation. Include persistence and reproduction-allocation reductions in the rule or narrow the hypothesis accordingly.

The joint effect of match and social reinforcement on persistence is super-additive.

**Survival rule:** the predeclared interaction contrast is at least `0.10`, and a threshold/interaction model improves held-out mean squared error by at least `10%` relative to the additive model.

P1 Badge Declare the threshold model before freezing the design

The design can declare H2 SURVIVED using a “threshold/interaction model,” but it never specifies the threshold predictor, breakpoint rule, or piecewise form; the factorial design only declares categorical match/reinforcement conditions and a fixed exposure duration. Choosing those model details during implementation or after simulation output is available permits materially different conclusions from the same data, so the claimed nonlinear-coalescence test is not preregistered reproducibly.

### H6 — broad-spectrum alternative

If `PX` performs as well as or better than specifically matched profiles across all damaged hosts, the specificity claim is not needed.

**Falsifier of specificity:** `PX` reaches the candidate capture configuration at equal or greater rates than matched patterns in every D1–D4 profile.

P1 Badge Define a computable decision rule for H6

The analysis plan requires a SURVIVED, FALSIFIED, UNRESOLVED, or BLOCKED status for every H1–H6 hypothesis, but H6 supplies only a condition labeled “Falsifier of specificity” and no rule mapping outcomes to H6's own status. The independent verifier therefore cannot deterministically populate the required H6 ledger entry, and implementations may invert whether evidence for the broad-spectrum alternative counts as H6 survival or falsification.

After initiating exposure is removed, matched high-demand patterns retain more host policy control than matched-support controls.

**Survival rule:** final-window persistence exceeds the matched-support control by at least `0.15` without continuing external reinforcement.

P1 Badge Test hysteresis under identical external conditions

This rule compares a high-demand pattern with the distinct matched-support pattern after withdrawal, so a 0.15 difference can be caused by their different demands, costs, or ordinary decay rates rather than hysteresis. It never compares the same host-pattern system at the same zero-exposure condition before and after exposure, nor estimates separate entry and exit thresholds. H3 can therefore survive without demonstrating the path dependence the preregistration calls hysteresis.

- persistent habit with no lineage reproduction;
- lineage reproduction driven by explicit external reward rather than identity coupling.

P1 Badge Add the required destructive controls to the frozen matrix

The required controls include a persistent habit with no lineage reproduction and reproduction driven by an explicit external reward, but neither has a pattern profile or factor in the declared factorial matrix. The future condition generator must therefore either omit mandatory controls or introduce undeclared conditions after the design is supposedly frozen, preventing the verifier from deterministically deciding whether the measurement prerequisite passed.
