Hi, I'm Festus Ihechi - an AI Engineer, Software Engineer, and Financial Engineering graduate student.

I'm interested in building AI systems for finance, decision-making, and automation. My work focuses on machine learning, time-series modelling, quantitative finance, and data-driven applications, alongside scalable software engineering. I enjoy implementing research ideas, designing end-to-end ML pipelines, and building tools that bridge theory with production.

I'm always learning, experimenting, and building, whether that's forecasting financial markets, developing software applications, or exploring modern AI architectures and agents.

My powers lie in planning and execution. Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging are skills I've honed in my battle against software bugs. I pride myself on excellent communication and collaboration skills. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring dedication and enthusiasm to every task. My ability to undertake tasks independently complements my teamwork abilities, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Beyond software development, I enjoy researching things that interest me (ingesting loads of information in the process), listening to and curating music playlists, cooking, writing stories, and bringing smiles to people's faces. These hobbies add a creative dimension to my life and inspire me to explore new avenues of self-expression.
