Rules: Encumbrance

Life is too short to worry too much about encumbrance. Two systems are offered, a simple on and a very simple one.

Simple

A character can carry 3 points of encumbrance; some professions can raise this. Clothing (inc armour) does not count, nor does treasure or cash or lockpicks. See the two tables below for suggested encumbrance values.

Very Simple

A character can carry 2 points of encumbrance; some professions can raise this. Only weapons and shields are counted; just use the first table.

Limits

If you go over your encumbrance, your movement is halved; if you go over twice, you cannot move
