Carry a reviewed handoff into a new native session, or return the current worked session to its original harness under a new identity. CLI and TUI let users select event ranges, edit the complete handoff, inspect destination metadata and explicitly confirm publication. Return-new binds the selected completed parent and rechecks the current source rather than copying its previous import.
The handoff is recorded as derived user-provided context, with provenance and durable recovery evidence. It does not claim full-history continuity or enable in-place updates. Full return is verified for the pinned Claude/Codex schemas. OpenCode 2.0.22/2.0.23 accepts the user handoff with PARTIAL target coverage because its importer adds a model variant; full return to OpenCode fails before a new READY record.
Validation:
In-place update remains unavailable pending native concurrency and recovery proofs. The optional web dashboard is a separate change.
