Recent Codex appends typed environment context to legacy rollouts; the reader could turn that context into a user message. DEV13 uses the structured per-content metadata to preserve actual user text while excluding provider context. It also refuses Claude selected ancestry that crosses a sidechain, including a last-prompt reference into a child.
Registers exact Claude Code 2.1.303/2.1.306 and Codex 0.163.0 contracts across audits, source/target projection, USER emission and usage extraction. Historical writer defaults and native clients remain covered. Codex file_id-only images become explicit omissions; private request/replay data, unsupported compaction and mixed Claude versions do not gain authority. Publication with a custom Claude project namespace is refused before writing, because stock-client probes did not establish resumable history for that mode.
Validation:
Independent product review approved; Ruff check/format and git diff --check passed.
18 historical/current native checks passed with private HOME/XDG/Git fixtures, a private network namespace and loopback-only providers; no skips or approval/sandbox bypass flags.
Installed Claude 2.1.303: five additional native cases passed.
Related isolated regression: 897 passed, one explicitly unconfigured OpenCode native oracle skipped. CLI/integration subset: 24 passed.
Host runs initially hit pre-existing read-only catalog/fixture instability; the isolated final regression passed without weakening the guards.
Adds separate claude-current and codex-current jobs, retaining historical pins; 34 CI jobs total. In-place updates and full provider-state equivalence remain unproven.
Installed DEV13 wheel byte-matched to all 84 package files; private operator installation first, then shared installation. Each passed 194 tests with no skips. Seven accounts passed 42 CLI checks, seven core/TUI/web import checks and 14 effective-version checks; backups verified and 15 runtime dependencies/shared pip preserved. Independent post-install review approved.
Fixed the isolated CI runner to retain public uv interpreter-selection variables after clearing its environment; both new current-client jobs now pass. All 34 CI checks passed on head 29e0069; merged into next as a5c274d.
