Points not fully hidden if opted out of collection

Describe the problem

Somewhat related to #5079

Users can choose not to participate in point collection.
If they opt out, points completely disappear from their own profile.
However, on other users' profiles only the numerical value is set to zero. The points label is still shown.

Ideally, point omission should work the same on all profiles.
