  • Cursor users cannot install these skills today because Cursor only reads .cursor-plugin manifests, not .claude-plugin ones.
  • Keeping two manifests per plugin invites silent drift in names, versions, and descriptions, so CI cross-checks them and validates against Cursor's published schemas.
  • Release-please bumps both manifests so a release never ships mismatched versions across tools.

PR Summary

Low Risk
Mostly metadata, schemas, docs, and CI validation; no runtime application logic, though release-please and marketplace parity must stay correct to avoid install or version drift.

Overview
Adds Cursor as a first-class distribution path alongside Claude Code: each existing plugin gets a .cursor-plugin/plugin.json manifest, and a new root .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json indexes all ten TrogonStack plugins.

Validation and releases are extended so the two ecosystems stay aligned. scripts/validate-plugins.mjs now schema-validates Cursor manifests (via vendored schemas/cursor-plugin/* and AJV), requires Cursor marketplace registration, and cross-checks name/version/description (and marketplace copy) against the Claude side; CI installs AJV and watches Cursor-related paths. Release-please extra-files also bumps .cursor-plugin/plugin.json at the repo root, and docs (README, CONTRIBUTING, scaffold-plugin skill) describe Cursor team-marketplace import, local install, and dual-manifest scaffolding.

Walkthrough

The repository adds Cursor manifests and marketplace registration for ten plugins. It also adds schemas and validation, updates release version handling, and documents Cursor setup and plugin scaffolding.

Changes

Cursor plugin support

Layer / File(s) Summary
Cursor schemas and plugin catalog
schemas/cursor-plugin/*, plugins/*/.cursor-plugin/plugin.json, .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json
The new schemas define Cursor plugin and marketplace formats. Ten plugin manifests and marketplace entries register the plugins.
Cursor validation and release integration
scripts/validate-plugins.mjs, .github/workflows/validate-plugins.yml, .github/release-please-config.json, CONTRIBUTING.md
The validator checks Cursor manifests, marketplace entries, schemas, and release configuration. The workflow installs validation dependencies and runs for Cursor-related changes. Release configuration and guidance include the Cursor manifest.
Cursor scaffolding and setup instructions
.agents/skills/scaffold-plugin/SKILL.md, README.md
The scaffold instructions add Cursor manifest and marketplace steps, plus consistency checks. The README documents Cursor marketplace import and plugin installation.

I, a rabbit, hop through manifests bright,
Ten plugins join the marketplace tonight.
Schemas guide each field and name,
Checks keep versions aligned the same.
Cursor welcomes skills into its den,
I nibble a carrot, then hop again!
