  • Kept the fork's thread resume rule (manuallyResumableRun, any provider failure) in web ChatView over upstream's usage-limit-only deriveResumableRunId, because the fork's rule is a superset and the fork orchestrator still decides resumability with it.
  • Combined upstream's new sidebar content ref with the fork's drop-a-folder target (0008) so dropping project folders on the sidebar keeps working.
  • Merged the pull request eval cases: took upstream's updated background PR control case and kept the fork's standing-instructions watch case.
  • Set the agent context budget to the measured size of the merged MCP tool list, since both sides added tools and the budget test requires an exact match.
  • Test failures seen locally that also fail on fork main (task-cache cleanup, macOS-specific editor detection, case-insensitive icon names, an ICU time format) are unrelated to this sync and tracked separately.

PR Summary

Medium Risk
Wide surface area across desktop process startup, shell environment capture, and preview input routing, plus mobile scheduling and thread resume flows—none are auth core, but regressions would affect daily use.

Overview
This PR brings in a broad upstream sync: provider and docs updates (notably fx in the README/install guidance), plus substantial desktop and mobile behavior changes.

On desktop, the embedded server gets a longer readiness window (3 minutes) and tests for slow or stuck startups. Linux drops the custom Chromium WMClass switch; login-shell PATH probing ignores stderr so large shell init output no longer breaks capture. Preview/CDP routing now preserves host composer focus around agent pointer events, forwards preview.focusUrl like other focus-releasing shortcuts, and reads macOS browser secrets via async keychain APIs. SnapShots improve macOS front-window picking, surface a dedicated setup-required error (Hyprland can auto-refresh stale helpers), and desktop update release notes parsing keeps bold highlights and “plus N more” footers.

On mobile, scheduled tasks gain one-time schedules; the thread composer shows child-thread approvals, richer resume (queue + resumable runs), RTL pending-question layout, collapsible markdown <details> in assistant messages, and stable asset image cache keys. Android adds image drag-and-drop into the native composer (with tests), reorders the editor for TalkBack, and stacks composer panels in a scroll region. Pull-request UI normalizes review state across hosts; file viewing can load text before directory metadata resolves.

CI maps changes to the t3-connect troubleshooting doc for the t3 package when inert paths are touched.

Once picker overwrites date or time

Medium Severity

The one-time schedule picker saves selected as runAt for both date and time mode. A date-only or time-only change can replace the other half of the stored instant, so Android users can lose the chosen time when picking a date, or reset the date to today when picking a time.
