218-223: 🚀 Performance & Scalability | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winReuse the relation OID that the table loop already fetched. Do not run one catalog query per used column.
Line 153 already reads
oidfor each table, after the table is locked. Line 219 runs a newpg_classlookup for every(table, attnum)inused. The query must make these extra round trips while it holds the shared DDL guard lock and the table locks. The lookup also omits therelkindand namespace filters from Line 151. Store the OID per table index in the first loop and read it here.♻️ Proposed refactor

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Keep using fresh cached keys when a scheduled JWKS refresh fails.
The cache expires after JWKS_CACHE_SECONDS (300 s). After that point, key() refreshes on every kid lookup, including a kid that is still in the cache. Line 115 returns the fetch_keys error through ?. For the next JWKS_REFRESH_SECONDS, Lines 105-112 return AuthError::Unavailable because expired is true. A short JWKS outage or slow response at the IdP therefore turns into HTTP 503 for every request to that issuer. This happens even when the token's kid is in the cached JwkSet, and it repeats every 30 s until the IdP recovers.
The tokio::sync::Mutex stays locked during fetch_keys. On each expiry, all concurrent requests for the issuer wait up to the 5 s client timeout.
Fix: if the kid is in the cache, use the cached keys when the refresh fails or is throttled. Bound that fallback with a maximum stale age, so revoked keys still stop working. Keep failing closed when the kid is missing.
