About

Final-year B.Tech + M.Tech IT at IIIT Gwalior. Most of my code lives in other people's repos, reviewed and merged by full-time maintainers, not graded by a TA.

Currently working through

  • eBPF and OVN-Kubernetes
  • Distributed systems + observability (tracing, RCA for microservices)
  • Controllers, CRDs, and operator patterns that don't collapse under load

Off the keyboard: guitar, badminton (neighbourhood professional), light novels, games.

Open Source

Project Stack What I do there
KubeVirt
Runs virtual machines on Kubernetes. Red Hat-backed.
Go, Kubernetes Work on how VM disks are attached so they survive being moved between servers, on Secure Boot support for VMs, on validating disk images before they're used, and on the project's test infrastructure. Code is reviewed and merged by full-time maintainers.
vLLM Semantic Router
Decides which LLM a request should go to. Part of the vLLM project.
Go, Envoy 10 PRs since Sep 2026. Added monitoring so operators can see what's happening to requests as they stream through, worked on the catalog of models the router can pick from, and measured how well its classifiers hold up on real conversations.
p5.js
Widely used JavaScript library for creative coding. Processing Foundation.
JavaScript, GitHub Actions Build and DevOps steward. I work on and review the pipeline that builds, tests and releases the library, and keep its CI secure and up to date. 11 merged PRs.
processing4
The Processing desktop editor.
Java, Kotlin Built the system that catches visual regressions by comparing rendered output against known-good images. Merged.

Projects

OptiFuse Cuts serverless compute costs by working out which AWS Lambda functions should be fused into one. Pulls traces from CloudWatch and X-Ray, runs 6 fusion algorithms over them, and recommends a layout. Built as 5 Go gRPC services behind a Gin gateway, deployed on AKS with Terraform, Kustomize and ArgoCD. CI builds images to GHCR and bumps the deploy overlay. Prometheus and Grafana across all services.
go-torrent BitTorrent client in Go from scratch. DHT, peer wire protocol, MSE.
