- Distributed Raft KV Store — fault-tolerant CP key-value store implementing Raft consensus in Go, chaos-tested on GCP clusters with OS-level fault injection. ~1.2s median leader failover, measured as a distribution across repeated kills.
- Follow-Ahead Human-Robot Navigation — A2C value function and LSTM trajectory prediction guiding MCTS planning for proactive robot navigation, on ROS2. Owned the RL module.
- PrideShield — multimodal anti-LGBTQ+ hate speech detection; CLIP embeddings + MLP benchmarked across three vision encoders.
- Wildfire Smoke Forecasting — PM2.5 forecasting for Vancouver; reframed around rare high-impact smoke days after a persistence baseline beat standard ML.
