Rolls the two validated post-rc1 fixes into the next release candidate:

• classical non-AI edge-aware Remove BG hardening
• profile + Drawing Style aware, recognition-first Extra Fast
• ETA remains tied to the real final execution sequence (travel, strokes, color/brush/tool changes, Fill and verification)
• Windows installer metadata synchronized to 1.0.146-rc2 / numeric 1.0.146.0
• README/current release index, release notes, version history and active version assertions synchronized

Release preparation validation

• source package hygiene: pass
• focused rc2 regression set: pass
• official portable planner regression set: pass
• Extra Fast benchmark smoke: pass

The initial preparation attempt intentionally exposed one Windows-native Paint test (ctypes.WinDLL) when running the entire Windows suite on Ubuntu. The preparation gate was corrected to mirror the repository's official CI split: portable regressions on Ubuntu and the complete regression suite/self-test on Windows. No runtime workaround was added for that platform-specific test.

Final merge is gated by the normal Image Draw Bot PR CI, including the complete Windows regression suite and Windows self-test.
