I've seen the work done by @fatadel (#81) to bring the code base towards spec and as I will be using the WoT in upcoming work I've started making some more changes. Initially planning on adopting the http basic profile https://www.w3.org/TR/wot-profile/#http-basic-profile before moving on to the other profiles and compatibility improvements. Whats the current status on this project?

Hi @wDove1, the status is that we're planning to bring all of the WebThings Framework libraries in line with the W3C WoT 1.x family of specifications, but as far as I'm aware nobody is actively working on the Python library. Your contributions would be extremely welcome.

My plans for the Node.js library* are to implement:

So it would be great if we could stay in sync, which it sounds like we are.

We could tag the current tip of master as 1.0.0, branch it, and then start re-factoring on master.

*I started experimenting in a separate repo because I'm considering having a plain Node.js version without TypeScript, but that's not particularly relevant here.
