Owner

Relicense to match intended terms: do anything with the code, including commercial use, except resell the Software itself; keep attribution.

Allowed

  • Any use, including commercial (run your org, serve clients, host as a service)
  • Modify, fork, create derivatives
  • Distribute and ship inside your own products/services (with attribution, same License)

Forbidden

  • Sell/sublicense the Software (or a substantially similar derivative) as a standalone product or for a fee charged for the Software itself
  • Rebrand it as your own product to sell
  • Remove copyright/attribution notices

Owner retains all rights to the base code and to contributions.

Note: GitHub will still show license as "other" since a no-resale term is not OSI open-source.

Allow forking and non-commercial redistribution while keeping internal
commercial use, and forbid resale and commercial hosting. Owner retains
all rights to the base code and contributions.
