macOS support

Requested by a few developers. How do we get there when nobody on the dev team owns a Mac?

I am working on an unofficial port of wf to macOS. I have a working bootstrap process and have successfully built a complex GBA game with the toolchain on pure macOS.

It's not officially supported.

Details on how to make a bootstrap for wf on modern macOS:

• xcode-select --install
  • one would also need homebrew for at least cmake and GNU coreutils
• Follow this guide to install a vanilla pacman
  • I suggest installing it to /opt/pacman to make things cleaner and configuring it to install to /opt/wonderful in /opt/pacman/etc/pacman.conf, but I installed it straight into /opt/wonderful and cleaned it up later
• Checkout my fork of wonderful-packages to get a macOS wf-pacman
  • Edit /etc/synthetic.conf the usual way to make a /wf directory and point it to this repo
  • Use makepkg from the vanilla pacman installation to compile wf-pacman
  • Install the wf-pacman package with vanilla pacman, then install the wf-pacman package with wf-pacman (declaring the dozen or so files it needs to overwrite with --overwrite=)
  • Clean out the vanilla pacman components other than makepkg
  • use pkgtool per usual

The wf-pacman macos/PKGBUILD in my fork details the unique steps required for building on macOS.

I don't think so, but I wouldn't know for sure.

Hmm I will try to build @aronson 's ports and see if I can make a bootstrap and point it to a private server with a Pacman repo. If that works, it can be replicated on the official server.
