PaperViz DSH Plugin

PaperViz's native DSH client plugin: a sidebar entry and reading shell for library browsing, PDF reading, notes, translation, and paper-specific AI assistance.

This repository contains only the DSH plugin package. The PaperViz web app, API, database schema, and worker services remain in the main PaperViz repository and are not bundled here.

Requirements

• Node.js 22 or newer
• A compatible DSH host with the web client module loader

Development

npm install
npm run typecheck
npm run build

The build writes generated JavaScript and declaration files to lib/. Those files are intentionally ignored; they can be recreated from the tracked source at any time.

Install into a local DSH web profile

After building, add the package directory to the DSH web profile:

dsh plugin --profile web add /absolute/path/to/PaperViz-dsh

The included cordis.patch.yml registers the plugin's module-loader entry.

• tsdown.config.ts — separate host and browser bundle configuration
