The Holes counter problem (solved)

About the problem, here is the description : https://github.com/HomeRefill/come-to-homerefill/tree/master/tests/holes-problem

For run this files, you need first install some programs.

You just follow the installation instructions default from this links. If you dont want install theses programs, you can also run these code on websites with online language compilers.

Runing code

To run this codes, you just need open the IDE you installed (in my case, is VS code) and run. You can also run these code on websites with online language compilers

If you just run this codes with exec "somefile.py", you do what is asked and then the CMD is closed before you see the return. Because by default Python is a scripting language and is interpreted, not compiled. If want run in CMD, you need to add in last line code "input()" and Run.

About 2 codes

I'm suggest two ways for solve.

  • The first way to resolve, will be receiving user input and storing it in a list. Soon after all entries, the program returns the holes according to the order of entries (first in, first out).
  • The second form is received after the number of entries that will be inserted, treat immediately after the input is entered, thus using less computational power to solve (over more manual work by the user).
