On Openrouter I have preset models that only appears when use /models/user or using the openrouter_api_key.

Context (who is affected and when)

So. I have an @preset/flash that combines some configurations.

Check an model that exists before declares it as not found

For presets, treating /models/user as the source of truth is safer than assuming every @preset/* slug is in the public catalog. I’d resolve the preset first, validate the referenced model IDs, and return a distinct ‘preset unavailable’ error so a valid user preset is not mistaken for a missing model.
