v1.1.0

Safety, correctness, performance, and beginner-first UI/UX hardening for BPSR Custom PFP Lite.

Rule #1 — UI/UX first

  • Assume the user may have zero IT knowledge.
  • Use tiny numbered baby steps and make the next action obvious.
  • Keep Unity/package/file-number details behind Advanced/Technical sections.
  • Prefer automatic detection and safe defaults; explain recovery in plain language.

Safety and correctness

  • Install-specific clean backups and atomic metadata writes.
  • Transactional Apply with pending SHA-256 crash recovery.
  • Refuse unsafe restores over unknown/newer live game files.
  • Preserve UnityFS compression with original flags and LZ4 fallback.
  • Prefer cached verified slot, then original guide bg_3 / m79.pkg / file593 route.
  • Validate rebuilt package before live replacement.

UX / capture workflow

  • Six-step guided workflow for Square and Card.
  • Separate original image from crops; EXIF-aware phone-photo handling.
  • DPI-aware window sizing, preserve monitor/position, restore previous BPSR window.
  • Common Steam and Haoplay/non-Steam auto-detection.

Quality / release

  • Modularized the former single large app.py.
  • Added automated backup/restore/detection/config safety tests.
  • CI compiles and tests before packaging, runs frozen EXE self-test, publishes SHA256SUMS.txt, and enforces version bumps for already-published tags.

If PR checks pass, this is intended to be merged and published as v1.1.0.
