A child theme for the Genesis Framework and Wordpress 5.0 or greater.
These instructions will enable you to deploy the child theme on an existing or new wordpress installation. If you deploy this theme on existing wordpress installation, then all content may require updating as this theme moves from the classic editor of the Wordpress 4 series to the block editor of the Wordpress 5 series.

After setting up a new wordpress installation, or on an existing installation, upload the latest version of the Genesis Framework. Then upload the Wintermute child theme. Activate Wintermute.
The primary menu should be added via the header right widget area. Additional menus should be added conditionally to the after header area.
Media files (photos for figures, buttons, banners, etc.) should always be resized and compressed using Adobe Fireworks prior to upload. The "Alt Text" and "Description" must always be filled out when uploading media files. Photographs should originate from high resolution mirrorless or DSLR cameras (not point and shoot or phone cameras). Figures that are generated in software applications, such as ArcGIS, should be output at 300 dpi. Media should be formatted to the following resolutions:
- Banners: 2000x1000 jpg
- Landscape Figures: 1800x1200 jpg
- Portrait Figures: 1200x1600 jpg
- Staff Photo: 1200x1200 jpg
- Picture Button: 300x300 jpg or png
- Picture-Text Button: 400x300 jpg or png
- Logo: 200 in shortest axis jpg or png
- Wordpress 5.0.1.
- Genesis 2.8.0.
