This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
- Some hosts/IPs require a proxy for YouTube/Spotify scraping: set
PROXY_URL(see.env.example). - If a proxy makes YouTube worse, set
YTDLP_DISABLE_PROXY=1to force yt-dlp to run without it. - If YouTube starts returning “Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot”, your server IP/proxy is being challenged. Try a different proxy/IP (residential usually works better than datacenter).
- If you use YouTube cookies, do not commit them. Provide them at runtime (secret/volume) and set
YTDLP_COOKIES_PATH, or setYTDLP_COOKIES_B64(base64 of a Netscapecookies.txt). You can disable cookie usage withYTDLP_DISABLE_COOKIES=1.
To create YTDLP_COOKIES_B64:
- macOS/Linux:
base64 -w0 cookies.txt - Windows PowerShell:
[Convert]::ToBase64String([IO.File]::ReadAllBytes("cookies.txt"))
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
