Adoption-surface accuracy pass (readers click through from acp.com → org → this README as part of evaluating):

  • New 'Which one do I want?' box up top — GatewayStack (MIT runtime you run yourself, no account) vs Agentic Control Plane (hosted console/cost X-ray built on it). The split previously only lived in the footer.
  • Test count 135 → 185 (npm test, 2026-07-13); 'five core packages' → six (matches the module table).
  • Cost claim made honest: the open core enforces budgets/limits and logs usage; the priced cost X-ray is the hosted console built on that telemetry (top now agrees with the footer).
  • Hermes Agent: pip install path added to Install + hermes-acp-plugin added to related repos.

David approved the diff in session 2026-07-13.

- test count was 135/17 files; suite is 185/17 (npm test, 2026-07-12)
- 'five core packages' → six (matches the module table)
- cost claim made honest: the MIT core enforces budgets and logs usage;
  the priced cost X-ray is the hosted console built on that telemetry
  (the README's own footer already said so — the top now agrees)
- install section + related repos gain hermes-acp (pip path, new repo)
