Mercurial isn't used anymore after all the Go sources moved to Github.
The current instructions don't work if GOPATH isn't set and don't instructions for making GOPATH persistent. The new instruction don't use GOPATH to start the client and will also work after a reboot. GOPATH is not needed to run the binary.
Tails is based on Debian Wheezy for some time now. Also group the commands differently: first install the software, then run it.
