I am a software engineer and Odoo developer. I write Python for two kinds of systems: ERP systems that a company runs on, and simulations of systems too tangled to reason about by hand.
At work I am the technical lead at PRISM Apex, a marketing company in Egypt, where I built the internal operations system on Odoo 17. I am learning accounting from the ground up, since that is the half of ERP work Python does not cover. Outside work I study CS at Aswan University and build simulations with Python and NumPy.

An Odoo 17 module that escalates a task when it sits in one stage past a 24 hour SLA. Nine tests, an Arabic translation, LGPL-3. I check the tests by breaking the module on purpose and watching them fail.
Ibn Khaldun's theory of asabiyyah as a simulation. Nations on a grid, RK4 for population dynamics, an SIR model for how ideas spread, wars along shared borders. The engine is written from scratch in Python and NumPy.
Built because Omran's results changed with the random seed, and there was no way to tell how much of a result was the model and how much was the seed. Rasad measures that split for any stochastic simulation, without modifying it.
Small physics and numerical analysis notebooks: projectile motion, random walks, the logistic map, numerical integration, root finding. Each one has a README explaining the mathematics behind it.
