`cargo doc` fails under `-D warnings` on bare URLs in doc comments. Wrap them in angle brackets, with the sentence-ending period outside the brackets so it does not become part of the link, and regenerate index.d.ts. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

I've done a docs rewrite pass with Codex. I think this is in a better shape, but feel free to ignore if you disagree.
