Ordinary file reads and edits in Linux homes such as /var/home/<user>/project/app.py were forced to confirmation because the filesystem guard classified the entire /var tree as a protected system path. Resolve the current user's home and exempt contained targets from that broad rule so these files follow the normal profile and workspace policy.

Credential checks remain ahead of the exemption. Other users' homes, system paths, symlink/traversal escapes, writes outside the active workspace, and paranoid-mode edits retain their existing protections. Document the behavior and add 10 regression tests, including native/offline evaluator coverage and symlinked homes.

Validation: all 421 unittest tests pass on macOS/Python 3.12 using an isolated temporary user profile and localhost access; git diff --check passes. Linux paths are simulated in the regression tests; native Linux validation will run in the existing CI matrix.

Closes #7.
