HACKME is a tool for gathering information from WhatsApp using OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) methods. It helps you find out if a phone number is registered on WhatsApp, check the online status, last seen time, provider, location, and profile information of a WhatsApp user. The tool is free, open source, and works on many platforms.
You do not need any programming skills to use it. This guide will help you download and run HACKME on a Windows computer.
Before installing HACKME, make sure your computer meets these requirements:
- Windows 10 or later
- At least 2 GB of free disk space
- An active internet connection
- A phone number you want to check (with country code, e.g., +62 for Indonesia)
- No special software needed besides what will be installed automatically
Follow these steps to download and run HACKME without technical trouble.
Go to the official releases page for HACKME:

This page contains the latest versions for Windows and other platforms. The files you want end with “.exe” or indicate Windows compatibility.
Look for the latest installer file for Windows. It might look like this:
- HACKME-setup-v1.0.exe
Click the file name to start the download. Your browser will save it to your "Downloads" folder or a folder you choose.
Find the downloaded file on your computer, usually in the "Downloads" folder.
Double-click the file named something like "HACKME-setup-v1.0.exe".
If Windows asks for confirmation, click “Yes” or “Run”.
Follow the setup instructions:
- Choose where to install (default location is fine)
- Confirm any prompts
The installer will copy files and set up the program.
After installation finishes, look for the HACKME icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.
Double-click it to open the program.
The HACKME interface will appear, allowing you to enter a phone number.
Type a full phone number with the country code in the input box, for example: +6281234567890
Press the "Check" or similar button.
HACKME will connect to its data sources and show the following details:
- Whether the number is registered on WhatsApp
- Last seen time
- Online status (if available)
- Mobile provider name
- Approximate user location
- Profile information such as name and profile picture
- Number Registration Check: Verify if a WhatsApp account exists for the number
- Online Status: See if the user is currently online or offline
- Last Seen Timestamp: Find out when the user was last active
- Provider Info: Identify the mobile network used for the number
- Location Data: Get approximate area information based on the phone number
- Profile Access: View profile pictures and names linked with the account
- If HACKME does not start, make sure your antivirus has not blocked it.
- If you cannot see results, check your internet connection.
- Use the full number with the country code for accurate searches.
- If some data does not appear, the user might have privacy settings enabled on WhatsApp.
- Restart the program or your computer if it freezes.
HACKME only accesses publicly available information related to WhatsApp accounts. It does not store your data or the data you search for. Use the tool responsibly and avoid checking numbers without permission.
If you want to remove HACKME from your computer:
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Go to "Settings" > "Apps."
- Find “HACKME” in the list.
- Click it and then choose "Uninstall."
- Follow the prompts to remove the tool.
