Just got my new Maypole via Mouser in the USA.
Device does not show up as a USB device on computer.
I can't see the 'default' wifi network to connect that way.
I have tried reseating the memory card
(thanks for that by the way, expected to have to provide my own but the included 4GB should get me started)
and various restart clicks and power cycles and different computers just in case.
Device seems to power up...LED lights, Battery seems to charge and will power device away from PC.
Maybe I am just missing something....I assumed it would be flashed with a recent version of firmware and would just plug in.
Can anyone assist or did I get a bad unit and need to exchange it.
Not sure it would be possible but would be nice if the firmware could be updated via the memory card
incase of massive failure like what I seem to have.
I don't see it via the Arduino OTA interface either but I don't often use that so may be my error there.
And for some reason, not sure why yet, I can't get the code to compile anyway.
I don't think I have an external programmer I could attach...When I ordered the Maypole I wanted one with the interface but
they were not available so I went with the battery unit and figure if it worked I might get another with the interface later.
