Mid-term Assessment Maps - Web Application (Erasmus+ Internship)

As part of my Erasmus+ internship at Universidade Portucalense (Porto, Portugal), I contributed to the development of a web-based application designed to generate mid-term assessment maps for bachelor’s study programmes, supporting academic planning and coordination at the university.

Note: Due to security constraints, the full source code cannot be published in this repository.

Project goals

• Retrieve assessment data from Curricular Unit Files (FUCs) stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database
• Provide an interactive interface for programme coordinators to configure and manage assessment calendars
• Detect scheduling conflicts and validate compliance with official assessment periods
• Automatically generate daily assessment maps, including PDF export and email notifications
• Support a database structure aligned with institutional documentation and data standards
