To start using the aliases just copy the file .bash_aliases (on MacOS, rename it to .bash_profile) into your home folder.
To start using, issue the command source ~/.bash_aliases or restart your terminal.
You may need to configure your terminal to Run commands as a login shell.
The only drawback is that when typing commands that need a branch name as a parameter, auto complete won't work.
