Bug: Chinese serif font renders correctly in preview but not in exported PDF #62

Description

@WingI9B1

I'm using the resume template with the following configuration:

---
stylePreset: editorial
displayFont: newsreader
bodyFont: source-sans
accentTone: forest
density: standard
headerAlignment: left
contactStyle: compact
pageMargin: 0.9
showHeaderDivider: false
showSectionDivider: true
pageSize: letter
---

When viewing the resume in the web editor, Chinese headings are rendered with a serif typeface as expected.

However, after exporting to PDF, the Chinese text is no longer displayed in a serif font. The exported PDF appears to fall back to a different Chinese font, resulting in a visual mismatch between the preview and the final document.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure the resume using:
displayFont: newsreader
bodyFont: source-sans
  1. Add Chinese content to section titles or headings.
  2. Open the resume in the web preview.
  3. Export the resume as PDF.
  4. Compare the typography between the web preview and the exported PDF.

Expected Behavior

The exported PDF should preserve the same typography shown in the web preview.

Chinese headings should use a serif font consistent with the selected displayFont style.

Actual Behavior

  • Web preview: Chinese headings render with a serif appearance.
  • Exported PDF: Chinese headings are rendered using a non-serif fallback font.

As a result, the exported PDF looks noticeably different from the editor preview.
