As things stand right now, anyone with type checking enabled for the
optsfield needs to define all fields for the rootOptionsobject as well as all sub-objects to make the type checker happy. This is, needless to say, inconvenient.As far as I can see, there are no fields that need to be required, so I marked them all optional.
