Adding 2 more steps to the workshop

  • Performance test via ADBT
  • Adding more features to the app via prompt

So for this I think the main thing would be to highlight the performance differences between the flashlist and carousel? What do you think?

Also so far the workshop has been really simple and then we go deep into Perfetto traces etc - can we simplify this?

The goal is just to show the developer how to measure Fluidity & then compare 2 different components so the test is meaningful

Updated Step 6 to compare the React Native FlatList and Vega Carousel with the UI Fluidity test. I also removed the CPU/Perfetto

# Step 7: Build a streaming TV experience with an AI prompt

In this capstone, you'll use an AI coding assistant to transform the workshop Hello World into a small streaming-style TV app. The result is inspired by the [React Native Multi-TV App Sample](https://github.com/AmazonAppDev/react-native-multi-tv-app-sample), while deliberately keeping the implementation small enough to understand during the workshop.

Capstone? Id recommend getting the agent to read the other files and keep the same simple language

Renamed this section to “Next steps,” simplified the language, and made the prompt an editable starting point for adding more features. The instructions and prompt now tell the coding assistant to read the existing workshop files and follow their simple patterns first.

This is the same platform-resolution pattern you used for `HeaderLogo`, Lottie, and the movie list, now applied to a more substantial native feature.

## 7.5 Validate the code

You can use the simple build and run language as per the other steps

Updated the section to use the same simple Vega Studio play-button and yarn build/run language as the earlier workshop steps, followed by a short interaction checklist.

- Accessibility and test requirements
- The commands and interactions that must be validated

Notice the constraints as well as the requested features. The assistant should not add a remote catalog, a full navigation framework, adaptive HLS/DASH playback, captions, seeking, or media-session integration during this exercise.

Removed the architecture tree and most of the new terminology. The section now describes the feature and exercise in the same plain language as the rest of the workshop.

this prompt is the one shot execution with the agent

- React Native `FlatList`
- The Vega Carousel

You'll run the same UI Fluidity test for both components on a physical Vega device, then compare the results.
