Problem: Currently, after you've created a reference to a card, if you go and change the highlighting of the original card the reference falls out of sync and you have to go through and manually redo it. This is often incredibly time consuming.
Fix: This PR adds a setting which enables references to hook into the same live view implementation such that they get automatically updated when the original source is changed.
