Investment-decision-oriented competitive analysis on MP Materials (NYSE: MP),
produced using the `competitive-analysis` and `comps-analysis` skills from
plugins/vertical-plugins/financial-analysis.

Deliverables in analysis/MP/:
- MP-Competitive-Analysis.pptx (18 slides) — exec summary, market, industry
  economics, peer profiles (Lynas deep-dive + UUUU/USAR/CNREG/ALB), 2x2
  positioning, moats grid, bull/base/bear, catalysts, decision frame
- MP-Comps-Analysis.xlsx (5 tabs) — Inputs (with cell comments citing every
  source), Operating Metrics, Valuation, REE-Specific (capacity multiples),
  Notes
- build_comps.py / build_deck.py — reproducible build scripts

Peer set: MP, Lynas, Energy Fuels, USA Rare Earth, China Northern Rare Earth,
Albemarle. Date: May 2026.

Caveat: MCP data sources (CapIQ / FactSet / Daloopa) not configured in this
environment — public sources used and [E] estimates flagged in cell comments.

Investment-decision-oriented analysis for Walmart (NYSE: WMT) using the
`competitive-analysis` and `comps-analysis` skills, mirroring analysis/MP/.

- 18-slide PPTX: thesis -> market -> retail value chain -> WMT profile +
  moats -> peer set -> 2x2 positioning -> Costco deep dive -> TGT/KR/BJ
  trio -> Amazon comparability caveat -> scoreboard -> moats grid ->
  bull/base/bear -> catalysts 2026-2028 -> decision frame -> sources.
- 5-tab XLSX (Inputs / Operating Metrics / Valuation / Retail-Specific /
  Notes) with formula-not-hardcode discipline; every input has a cell
  comment citing source or assumption; [E] flags estimates.
- Retail-Specific tab adds comp-sales %, e-com %, ad revenue $, and
  membership revenue $ -- the columns that actually differentiate the
  WMT / COST / TGT / AMZN / KR / BJ peer set.
- Peer set per skill 4-6 rule; Costco gets the deep-dive treatment.

Add competitive analysis decks and comps workbooks for WMT and MP
Self-contained HTML dashboard showing spot price, weekly range, YoY
change, the five drivers behind gold's move, key macro prints, and
the layered demand/production price floors.
US-Iran peace deal, oil down, gold rallied to ~$4,350. Adds GLD
reference price/levels, Fed-this-week (Warsh) context, and refreshes
drivers, macro prints, and floor bands with GLD equivalents.
Replaces hardcoded snapshot numbers with client-side fetch from Stooq
(XAUUSD + GLD.US), auto-refreshing every 60s with a CORS-proxy fallback
and a static last-known snapshot if the feed is unreachable. GLD backing
ratio and floor-band GLD equivalents now compute live. Drivers/macro
remain hand-curated and dated.
US-Iran deal signing set for Jun 19 (Switzerland); Fed/Warsh hold at
3.50-3.75% (~97%); Dec'26 hike odds collapse ~90%->60%; gold up 5th
straight session. Bumps fallback snapshot spot to ~$4,347.
